Kentucky football defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc headed to Arkansas

LEXINGTON - Mark Stoops is in the market for a new defensive line coach.

Derrick LeBlanc, who served in that role at UK the last three seasons, has left the staff, a UK spokeswoman confirmed Friday. Multiple reports, including one from FootballScoop.com, have said LeBlanc is expected to be hired at defensive line coach at Arkansas for new coach Sam Pittman.

At UK, LeBlanc helped the Wildcats develop defensive end Calvin Taylor from a two-star recruit into a possible NFL draft pick. Taylor ranked second in the Southeastern Conference with 8.5 sacks this season.

LeBlanc's UK contract was set to expire in June.
