LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky football staff celebrated Independence Day with a couple of commitments from prospective future pass catchers.
Three-star tight end Nikolas Ognenovic picked UK over Pittsburgh, Louisville, Indiana, Purdue and others, and three-star wide receiver DeMarcus Harris picked UK over reported offers from Indiana, Cincinnati, Kansas, Western Kentucky and others.
"I had a dream of commitment day," Harris wrote in a blog post for TCPalm.com. "I mapped everything out in my head. I woke up, ate breakfast, around 1 o’clock I was talking to my parents, at 2 o’clock I FaceTimed with coach Stoops and I officially committed and had my Kentucky hat on.
