LEXINGTON - Mark Stoops has turned to the junior college ranks for his most recent 2021 Kentucky football commitment.
Independence Community College linebacker Joko Willis committed to UK Friday over reported scholarship offers from Arkansas, Kansas State and Mississippi State. The LaGrange, Georgia native formerly played at Troup High School alongside three current Southeastern Conference players.
Kentucky had previously offered Willis a scholarship as a high school recruit in the class of 2019. He has yet to receive a junior college rating by the major recruiting services, but he was rated as a three-star prospect in high school.
