Kentucky football is dipping into the JUCO ranks for next season’s roster.
On Wednesday afternoon, defensive back Braxton Urquhart announced his commitment to the Wildcats on social media. Clocking in at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, the Hoover, AL, native will transfer over from Butler Community College (KS). He chose Kentucky over offers from the likes of Colorado State, Western Michigan, UT Martin, Western Illinois, Indiana State, and others.
Urquhart is not currently ranked by Rivals, but the folks over at 247Sports consider him to be the 96th-best JUCO prospect (and 10th-best overall cornerback) in the 2026 recruiting class.
