It would appear that John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats are taking a slightly more aggressive approach with their recruiting efforts this year.
Just a few hours after the staff extended an offer to Ian Jackson, a top-three prospect from the ’24 class, on Wednesday afternoon, UK went out and offered another highly-ranked rising junior in Tre Johnson, who is considered a top-five ’24 recruit and No. 4 overall by the On3 Consensus.
Johnson announced the offer through Twitter, thanking Coach Calipari and new assistant coach KT Turner in the process.
