Kentucky cross country places sixth in Alabama

Kentucky men’s and women’s cross-country teams both finished in sixth place at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Oct. 13.

The men’s side finished with 152 points in the men’s 8000 meter race while the women put up 186 points in the women’s 6000 meter race.

Wildcats Jake Allen and Ally Krueger finished first for their respective teams for the third consecutive race.

All eight runners on the men’s side finished in the top 100 while eight of the 13 women also placed in the top 100.

For the men’s team, Allen improved his career-high finish, placing eighth with a time of 23:55.
