No fewer than four former Kentucky cheerleaders have posted videos on social media that show them performing basket tosses into Lake Cumberland while wearing both halves of their bikinis.
If nudity was a popular option at UK’s cheerleading retreats, it does not appear to have been obligatory. As Wildcat cheerleaders past and present fought back against the firings of a singularly successful coaching staff, they stressed that their more provocative decisions were the product of free will and, in the main, were carefully concealed from their coaches.
“We would sneak away from the coaches after hours and go out to the lake,” sophomore Jake Graham said Tuesday.
