It wasn’t the prettiest performance, but the Kentucky Wildcats held serve at home and beat the Texas A&M Aggies.
Kentucky had arguably its worst start of the season, as they trailed 10-0 through the first four minutes of the game. The Cats quickly woke up and went on the 35-11 run to take command and went into the halftime beak with a 46-34 lead.
It was thanks in large part to the bench, which had one of its best performances of the season with 20 first-half points.
The second half was more of the same, though it extended beyond the first four minutes as the the Aggies cut the lead to two points with under eight minutes to go, but the Wildcats would finish strong and notch an 85-74 win.
