Last night, UK Athletics raised over $3 million for those impacted by the tornadoes and storms in Western Kentucky. The basketball team will also carry a piece of the Bluegrass over their hearts. Last night, the team and John Calipari fielded calls during the Kentucky United Tornado Disaster Relief Telethon. The four-hour event ended at 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday, with all of the proceeds going directly to the American Red Cross.
