Kentucky's Davion Mintz shoots against Vanderbilt
The Kentucky basketball team has been in Nashville since Monday preparing for its two-game swing across the Volunteer state and the mission is clear – take care of Vanderbilt and upend Tennesse and people will start to take notice.
Kentucky (6-13, 5-7) has been on the cusp of figuring things out and despite nearly giving the game away with Auburn on Saturday it was Davion Mintz delivering the fatal shot and boosting this team’s confidence in the 82-81 win.
While they are not a championship team their mentality seems headed in the right direction as it enters the final five regular-season games.
