LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky basketball's first offseason departure is not coming via the NBA draft.
Freshman guard Johnny Juzang announced Friday he is entering the transfer portal. While UK coach John Calipari tweeted Juzang has the option to return to UK if he chooses to do so, in a note posted to Twitter, the California native seemingly closed the door to that option.
What a ride," Juzang wrote. "This last year at Kentucky was one of the best experiences of my life. I grew so much not only as a player but as a young man as well.
