Kentucky basketball's season-long struggles continued at Auburn with a 66-59 loss Saturday.
The Wildcats shot just 40% from the field and 25% (4 for 16) from 3-point range to lose their second consecutive game and fall to 4-8 on the season.
The offense for both teams in the first half was abysmal.
Neither team scored its second basket until the 13:02 mark, when Dontaie Allen’s 3 broke a 2-2 deadlock. Auburn missed 15 of its first 16 shots, but Kentucky was unable to stretch its lead to more than seven points because of its own struggles in that span.
