LAS VEGAS — "Go Big Blue" chants filled T-Mobile Arena as the No. 6 Kentucky Wildcats faced the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes in the CBS Sports Classic. The Wildcats were looking to rebound after they were unable to complete a comeback against Utah Wednesday night.
The contest remained close throughout but Kentucky was never able to get over the hump, with Ohio State winning, 71-65. Ohio State led for all but three minutes of the game.
The Wildcats were called for four fouls within the first three minutes of the game, and it was a common theme throughout the rest of the contest, as UK finished with 23 personal fouls.
