Kentucky Basketball filled one more chair on its bench with the addition of Walker Horn, a new walk-on player with ties to Lexington. Horn is the son of Darrin Horn, a former standout at Tates Creek High School and the current head basketball coach at Northern Kentucky University.

Walker Horn is a recent graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, where his dad was an assistant coach for the Texas Longhorns from 2015 to 2019. When Darrin Horn was hired to be the head coach at NKU in 2019, Walker Horn followed him to Kentucky for two years at Covington Catholic but returned to Austin for his senior year.
