Kentucky Baseball swept by No. 3 Texas Tech

The Kentucky Wildcats Baseball team failed to salvage the final game of a three-game series against No. 3 Texas Tech, as they fell by a final score of 19-4 on Sunday afternoon.

It did not take long for the Red Raiders to get on the board. In the top of the first inning, Texas Tech touched up Kentucky starter Dillon Marsh, as Josh Jung hit a run-scoring single, and Tanner O’Tremba walked with the bases load to make it a 2-0 game.

However, the Red Raider lead did not last for long. In the top of the second Zeke Lewis hit an infield single that scored Dalton Reid and Breydon Daniel was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to score Jaren Shelby and tie the game at 2-2.
