The Kentucky baseball team opened the weekend with a 7-4 victory over Lipscomb at Kentucky Proud Park.
The Wildcats are now 8-1 to open the season.
Game 2 against Lipscomb is tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. ET.

In a game moved up three hours due to the forecast for heavy rains in the late afternoon and evening, UK moved to 8-1 with a hard-fought win.
