Ugonna Kingsley Onyenso is officially a Kentucky Wildcat, committing to the program live from NBA Academy Africa in Senegal.
Shortly after his commitment, the UK basketball program made it official, announcing his signing on social media.
“Welcome to the family,” the program said of Onyenso.
Kentucky lists the five-star recruit out of Nigeria as 6-foot-11, 225 pounds. Reclassifying to the class of 2022, Onyenso will join the program for the upcoming 2022-23 basketball season.
He will not, however, make the team’s trip to the Bahamas next week, sources tell KSR.
