Mark Stoops’ team practiced at a familiar destination. This afternoon the team was at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida, the home of Garrett “Juice” Johnson.
When Juice found out the Cats would be playing on his old home field, “My heart dropped a little,” he told KSR. “It’s kind of ironic how it happened. Kentucky is coming back to my old school. It’s an alum of an alum, Kentucky back at West Orange. It’s pretty crazy. I’m definitely loving it. It feels good to see the old team out here.”
“It was great to see Juice, spend some time with him and see his bright smile,” Mark Stoops said.
