Keion Brooks, Kellan Grady underperform in first G League Camp scrimmage

Former Kentucky Basketball players Keion Brooks and Kellan Grady have two days to shine at the NBA’s G League Elite Camp in Chicago, a secondary scouting event to the NBA Combine. Brooks and Grady were among 44 invitees to the second-tier combine that began today, each with hopes of improving their stock and receiving feedback for their professional careers—or even better, earning an invite to the NBA Combine.

As luck would have it, Brooks and Grady drew the same team assignment for Monday’s 5-on-5 scrimmages, both suiting up for Team 2 in the four-team pool. Unfortunately, their first auditions did not go as well as they had hoped as they underperformed in their Monday game.
