To close out the month of July, UK guards Ashton Hagans and Tyrese Maxey traveled to Winston-Salem, NC to compete against some of the best college players in the nation at the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp.
And according to early reports, Maxey separated himself from the pack on day one of competition.
“Kentucky guard Tyrese Maxey has separated himself early at the CP3 Elite Guard Camp with his ability to make shots,” Jamie Shaw of Phenom Hoops said in a tweet. “Strong frame, quick first step, but the jump shot is falling at a high clip.
