Kentucky Derby runner up Journalism is the early favorite to win the race with 8-5 odds. Sandman, which finished second in the Derby, is next at 4-1. River Thames has 9-2 odds.
Sovereignty, which won the Kentucky Derby, is skipping the Preakness.
