Josh Paschal, now cancer-free: “I feel better than where I was, 100%. It’s all behind me now.”

After three surgeries, monthly immunotherapy treatments, and countless rehab sessions, the Prince George’s County, MD native finally made his season debut on November 17 against Middle Tennessee. He played sparingly, but it was a start, nonetheless. He returned in limited reps to close out the season.

On August 8, 2019, just over a year following the original diagnosis and announcement, Paschal announced on Twitter that he had undergone his final immunotherapy treatment and was officially cancer-free.

And in his season debut against Toledo on Saturday, the redshirt sophomore certainly made up for lost time, making plays all across the field.
