According to a KSR source, it’s unlikely Jones will take the field when the Cats meet Penn State down in Orlando on New Year’s Day. It is not a discipline issue, we’re told, and more details will come out later this week regarding Jones’ official playing status.
If Jones does not go, Kentucky has two promising young freshmen in Deandre Square and Chris Oates to take his place. However, it would mean we’ve already seen Jones play his last game in a Kentucky uniform.
