Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal says Louisville fans should actually be cheering for an unlikely team right now…the Kentucky Wildcats.
Here is his reasoning:
As unappealing a premise as it may be for some U of L fans, the No. 7 Cards (7-1, 5-1 ACC), who have only one victory over a winning team so far and lack any remaining games against CFP-ranked opponents, would do nothing but benefit from UK (5-3, 4-2 SEC) continuing its surprising success leading up to the Governor’s Cup game.
Though the chances of UK pulling it off are small, if the Wildcats win their next three games – at home against Georgia on Saturday, at Tennessee on Nov.
