Coach Calipari’s first point guard at the University of Kentucky will be in the Rupp Arena stands Saturday night when the Wildcats take on the Gators.
Wall is still recuperating from a ruptured Achilles tendon he suffered almost a year ago. Even though he’s not traveling with the Wizards, he still wants trash-talk ammunition for his Washington D.C. teammate, former Florida Gator Bradley Beal.
It’s not his first professional rendezvous at Rupp. He’s played in fundraisers for UK, exhibitions for the Wizards and was the ‘Y’ when Kentucky hosted Tennessee during the 2011 NBA All-Star break.
