Eddie Gran took Kentucky’s running back room to new heights by churning out 1,000-yard backs and transforming Benny Snell into the school’s all-time leading rusher. After striking out with one replacement from the NFL, Mark Stoops is turning to another guy with NFL experience that spent more than a decade grooming powerful Wisconsin rushers, John Settle.
“This right here is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” Settle said in his first meeting with reporters. “The chance to be a part of this staff, a part of this program and have an opportunity to develop some young men and coach guys that I think are very good.
