Wednesday, it was announced that former Memphis coach John Calipari – who is now at Kentucky - would be honored by the Tigers this December for what was meant to be a “great homecoming.” Thursday, the school’s President, David Rudd, cancelled the event. The reason? The fan base was none too thrilled with the idea.
Well, it turns out the whole ordeal hasn’t just been hard on the coach himself. Coach Cal’s daughter, Erin, has been getting heat from Memphis fans – some of whom she went to high school with – regarding the situation.
