LEXINGTON - Kentucky basketball's veteran leader is on track to return for the 2021-22 season.
"This should be Keion (Brooks)' year," UK coach John Calipari said during a Zoom news conference Friday morning. "... He’s that veteran that you’re saying, ‘You’ve got to be the center of this.’ But he’s got to do it. He’s got to fight."
Brooks, the lone scholarship junior on UK's roster next season, had not publicly signaled whether he planned to return to Kentucky, but Calipari said Brooks is among the group of returning players expected back on campus next week.
