LEXINGTON – Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari wants you to know he has long been in favor of players making money off their own name and likeness.
He is not as keen on being nailed down to a specific opinion about California’s Fair Play to Pay Act though.
“There’s things here that are bigger,” Calipari said Wednesday in a radio interview with Kentucky Sports Radio. “You can’t just say, ‘Yeah, I’m for this.’ You can say that if you’re being political and acting like you’re getting ahead of this, but the reality of it is what exactly are you talking about you’re for?
