John Calipari is still uncertain of Ashton Hagans’ playing status for this week’s SEC Tournament.
After missing Kentucky’s comeback road victory over Florida in the regular season finale due to “personal reasons,” the UK head coach said during this morning’s SEC Teleconference that he has not talked to Hagans since returning to Lexington.
“I haven’t talked to him,” Calipari said. “My hope is we’ll talk today or tomorrow, and I think he’ll be fine.”
While he believes Hagans will be “fine,” Calipari also noted that he’s not certain his point guard will start when the Wildcats take the floor this week in Nashville.
