Kentucky men’s basketball head coach John Calipari is going all-in on one of the country’s top shooting guards.
According to high school basketball insider Andrew Slater, Calipari is set to visit class of 2025 five-star Meleek Thomas on Wednesday. The 6-foot-3 Thomas is considered the No. 5 overall high school junior by the On3 Industry Ranking. Kentucky cracked his group of 12 finalists earlier this month after having offered him in April. This will be the second time this month that Calipari has paid a visit to Thomas.
Slater also adds that Thomas has met with coaches from Kansas and Auburn in the last two days.
