Because we are crazy people in Big Blue Nation, we all noticed John Calipari was dressed for success in Kentucky’s first SEC game earlier this month, and kept up the sports coat look through the three-game win streak and again in the loss to Alabama. Four straight games in his tailored clothes since the turn of the new year after he channeled his inner Bob Huggins with a more casual approach through the non-conference slate.
Why though?
Well, John Huang asked that very question in yesterday’s pre-Auburn press conference. Calipari replied, “I needed to feel like I was coaching again, and I was kind of feeling like this was all pickup basketball.
