LEXINGTON - Mark Stoops did not have to make a starting quarterback decision this week after all.
Normal starter Terry Wilson will not play against Georgia due to a wrist injury, so Auburn transfer Joey Gatewood will make his first career start for the Wildcats. Stoops had opened the competition for the starting job.
Wilson has started every game he has played in during his UK career but missed most of last season with a torn patellar tendon in his knee.
This season, Wilson has completed 61.4% of his passes for 602 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
