LEXINGTON – Kentucky football’s quest for an SEC East championship begins this week in spring football practice. Here are five players to watch this spring, all of whom could play key roles if the Wildcats are to contend for a division title.
Joey Gatewood, QB
Terry Wilson remains the favorite to start at quarterback for Kentucky in the fall, but he is not expected to participate in the team portions of spring practice as he works his way back from a knee injury that ended his 2019 season in week two.
