Knoxville, Tennessee has not been a healthy place to play this year. The Vols experienced attrition all year. For the first time this season, injury issues really hurt Kentucky.
Kentucky’s leading wide receiver and leading tackler missed most of Saturday’s game against Tennessee. Back spasms kept Jordan Jones out and Jeff Badet left the game after taking a hard hit to the hip.
Stoops is optimistic on their injury outlook. “I think there’s a good chance they could play this week,” he said today.
Hopefully, they don’t. Why rush it? He isn’t overlooking Austin Peay, but let’s be real, they don’t need these two players to win.
