Tim Reynolds of the AP reports the Miami quarterback will enter the transfer portal. The news comes just days after former Houston quarterback D’Eriq King announced he would use his final season of eligibility at The U.
Once a four-star quarterback from Georgia, Williams initially committed to Kentucky in the summer of 2016. Billed as the next great Wildcat quarterback, he picked up a ton of scholarship offers the following fall. He backed out of his pledge for a few months, only to reveal in May of 2017 on Kentucky Sports Radio that he would in fact be a Wildcat.
