LEXINGTON, Ky. – An inside linebacker position that was already thin has been dealt another blow midway through Kentucky football’s spring practice.

Redshirt freshman Jamin Davis, who had served as Jordan Jones’ primary backup at the “Will” linebacker spot following the offseason transfer of former part-time starter Eli Brown, is set to miss the rest of spring practice with a knee injury.

“He’s going to be out three or four weeks,” defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Matt House said after practice Thursday morning.
