Jamar “Boogie” Watson signs free agent contract with Pittsburgh Steelers

Boogie Watson is teaming up with Benny Snell Jr. in Pittsburgh.

After not hearing his name called during the final rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft on Saturday night, it didn’t take long for Jamar “Boogie” Watson to find himself a professional football home. The Pittsburgh Steelers signed the former Kentucky Wildcat linebacker to an undrafted free agent contract shortly after the conclusion of the draft.

In addition to Snell Jr., Pittsburgh also employs another pair of one-time ‘Cats, T.J. Carter and Calvin Taylor, giving the Steelers four Kentucky players on the active roster.
