There is some terrible news coming out of Kentucky men’s basketball practice this evening.
According to Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio, UK point guard Jaland Lowe re-injured his right shoulder during today’s practice.
Here is an excerpt of Pilgrim’s report:
The severity of the injury remains unknown for now, but it’s the same right shoulder that had to be popped back into place in the Blue-White Game, an issue that kept him out both exhibition games vs. No. 1 Purdue and Georgetown, then the regular season opener vs. Nicholls.
The re-injury occurred near the end of practice and his shoulder had to be popped back into place by the training staff, just like in the Blue-White Game, sources tell KSR.
