Jaguars DE Josh Allen tabbed one of NFL’s top second-year players

When a defensive end is taken in the top ten of an NFL Draft, they immediately enter the league with sky-high expectations. After being selected seventh overall in 2019, Allen was no different.

What Allen did, however, was crush those expectations.

With a 10.5 sack season to start his career, the best is still in store the young pass-rusher. While the Jags aren’t projected top be a postseason contender, Allen’s impact could usher in a new era for the team.

That said, 247S ports, when ranking the top second-year studs, placed Allen third behind Nick Bosa and Kyler Murray, two players who are stars in their systems as well.
