It was only a matter of time before the recruiting services caught up. Jager Burton is now officially a Top 100 recruit.
The four-star lineman from Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington jumped 109 spots to No. 61 overall in 247 Sports’ national recruiting rankings. Burton is the third-ranked offensive guard in America according to the scouting service.
The state’s top-ranked player is also at the top of Kentucky’s Class of 2021 Big Board. Another player on the board that has already picked Kentucky, wide receiver Dekel Crowdus, is a close friend and teammate. Alabama and Ohio State are also top contenders in Burton’s recruitment.
