John Calipari has taken note of the rising star that is Jaden McDaniels, and that has kept Kentucky in the mix.
After seemingly losing interest when the summer ended, Calipari and Kenny Payne recently made a trip to see McDaniels. It came just in time, as McDaniels has now announced his final five, and the Wildcats made the cut:
McDaniels is a five-star power forward out of Federal Way, Washington. He stands 6-8, 190 pounds, and is ranked the No. 4 player in his class by 247 Sports (No. 1 power forward).
McDaniels has received offers from the Washington Huskies, UCLA Bruins, Kansas Jayhawks, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas Longhorns and Arizona Wildcats among others.
