A Kentucky Basketball legend has experienced a devastating loss.
According to a post sent out by UK Hall of Famer John Pelphrey through Twitter on Wednesday evening, his father, Jack Pelphrey, has passed away.
“Today I saw my Dad, Jack Pelphrey, for the last time. Even though I am deeply saddened, I am even more thankful for having him as a father. He was not perfect, but he was perfect for me. A teacher, mentor, role model, coach and yes a friend. It takes a talented guy to wear all those hats. Haha! (he really loved wearing hats!
