Former Murray State star Ja Morant has called on a Kentucky judge to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee in downtown Murray. Morant’s letter comes in the wake of a Jefferson Davis statue removed from the Capitol rotunda in Frankfort on Saturday.

Morant led Murray State to an OVC conference championship, cinching his place as the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
