Fumble!!!!!!

It’s a beautiful sound in the Governor’s Cup, and Louisville did it twice in the second half, paying homage to past Louisville teams that also blew the rivalry game as a home favorite. Lamar must be so, so proud.

Governor’s Cup MVP JJ Weaver, a Louisville native, forced and recovered UofL’s first fumble. Then he scooped up the second only five minutes later.

The latter came in the fourth quarter, moments after Kentucky tied up the game with a field goal off the first fumble. D’Eryk Jackson stripped Jack Plummer, and Weaver fell on it at the Louisville 22.
