LEXINGTON, Ky. – As a freshman at Pinson Valley High School in Alabama, wide receiver Allen Dailey appeared poised for future stardom.
Louisville and UAB had already offered scholarships, and surely more would follow.
But recruiting interest dried up. Allen did not receive another offer until January of his junior year, and by then even the early offers were likely no longer committable.
“I got the big head early,” Dailey said.
