There is only one injury of note, but it’s to a key player on the team. Mark Stoops said after the game that Kash Daniel suffered a hand injury and it will need an X-ray before we know more.
“We’ll take a look at it and see where we go from there,” Stoops said.
Daniel played much of the second half while dealing with the injury. The UK Sports Network broadcast noted he had been playing through severe pain and the hand was heavily taped. But by the end of the game it became too much for Daniel to go on, and he went to the sideline for Vanderbilt’s last drive.
