As University of Kentucky students in the eRupption Zone waved campaign signs reading “Pick Nick” promoting Nick Richards’ All-America and SEC Player of the Year candidacy during the Wildcats’ Saturday game versus Florida, it was one of Richards’ teammates who made the best case for those honors.
Sophomore guard Immanuel Quickley scored 22 points in the second half, hitting 7 of 11 shots and 4 of 6 3-point attempts to lead Kentucky to a 65-59 win over Florida.
