The Wildcats' come-from-behind win over Ole Miss on Saturday combined with an LSU loss at Alabama and an Auburn loss at Missouri have John Calipari’s team in sole possession of first place in the Southeastern Conference in advance of a pivotal game at LSU on Tuesday.
Having won four straight and 12 of its last 14 games, Kentucky appears to be trending toward a top-four seed in the NCAA Tournament and a likely candidate for popular dark horse pick to reach the Final Four.
