Tonight, the quarterfinals of the Kentucky high school football playoffs will take place across the state. Only three teams from KSR’s top 25 rankings have been eliminated from postseason contention up to this point. This week’s matchups will feature plenty of ranked showdowns with only three more wins separating six teams from winning some hardware.
But no game will be bigger under the lights than what’s going down in Danville this evening. For the first time in the history of KSR’s rankings — regular season or postseason — the top two teams in the state will face off against each other.
